The Supervisory Board

The Supervisory Board of the Accreditation Agency functions as a collegial body designed to monitor the activities of the Agency in order to ensure effective satisfaction of the needs of society, the state and business in the field of improving the quality of education. The Council is also responsible for compliance with international accreditation standards, as well as making recommendations on strategic management of the Agency’s development and its key areas of activity.

The Supervisory Board consists of representatives of the academic community, accreditation bodies and employers, which reflects its elective, collegial nature.

The Supervisory Board is responsible for determining the Agency’s priority areas of activity, approving its development strategy, long-term business plans, annual reports on the Agency’s work and financial statements.

The main tasks of the Supervisory Board:

• Review and approval of the Agency’s Development Strategy (Strategic Plan).

• Development of recommendations and assistance in the implementation of priority areas of the Agency’s activities.

• Coordination of action plans for the implementation of the Agency’s Development Strategy.

• Review of key documents on the Agency’s activities submitted to the authorized body and foreign accreditation bodies, as well as the development of appropriate recommendations.

• Review and approval of annual reports on the Agency’s activities.
